On February 24, Honeywell, a global high-tech company, and Xi'an CNNC Nuclear Instrument Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CNNC Xiyi) signed a joint venture renewal agreement for Xi'an Sensell Electronics Co., Ltd. (i.e. Honeywell Xi'an Factory). This renewal coincides with the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the joint venture. It is not only an important milestone for Honeywell's "East Serving East" strategy to be implemented in western China, but also further demonstrates that Honeywell is actively promoting the development of its automation business.
The Xi'an plant is a joint venture established in 1994 in Xi'an High-tech Zone by Honeywell and Xi'an CNNC Nuclear Instrument Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China National Nuclear Corporation. It is also one of the first joint ventures established by Honeywell in China. After 30 years of development, the plant has become an important global strategic production base for Honeywell Intelligent Building Technologies Group integrating R&D, manufacturing and services, providing high-quality fire protection products for customers across the country and around the world, including various types of fire detectors and supporting equipment, fire alarm controllers, smoke detectors, etc. These products are widely used in many landmark projects including the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Beijing Daxing International Airport, and Shanghai Zhangjiang "Gate of Science", providing solid protection for China's urban public safety and fire protection.
